What is the age limit for the Not What I Ordered tour?

There is no single tour-wide age limit. Each venue sets its own rule, and they fall into two groups:

• Theatres and Live Nation shows: suggested or recommended 18+. The Carson Center in Paducah says "Suggested for audiences 18+", and Live Nation lists the Australian and New Zealand shows as recommended 18+. A suggested limit is guidance for parents. It may not be enforced at the door, but the content is written for adults.
• Casinos: usually 21+, and enforced. North Star Mohican in Bowler lists its June 12, 2027 shows as 21 and older only, and the AXS listing for The Hall at Maryland Live in Hanover is marked as a 21+ event. Casino gaming floors have legal age rules, and venues often apply them to the showroom.

In London, Union Chapel lists the show as an 18+ event.

Why is the show for adults?

The official description calls it brutally honest comedy, with stories about relationships, family, fame, farm life, mental health and everyday chaos. Expect adult language and adult themes. Which tour venues are casinos?

These stops are at casinos or resorts, where 21+ is the usual rule. We confirmed the rule at Bowler and Hanover. For the others, check the venue before buying for anyone under 21.

Several other stops are also at casino properties even though the venue name does not say so, for example Golden Nugget Lake Charles, Kansas Star, Seminole Hard Rock Tampa, Mohegan Sun Arena and Oaklawn. Check those too.

Can I bring a teenager?

At a casino venue, almost certainly not if they are under 21. At a theatre with a suggested 18+ rule, it is a judgement call for parents, but check whether the venue enforces it. Some theatres only advise, others require every guest to meet the limit. If you are unsure, call the box office before buying. A ticket does not guarantee entry if the guest does not meet the venue's rule, and refunds for that reason are unlikely.

What ID should I bring?

• Bring a valid government photo ID such as a driver's licence or passport, even if you look older than the limit.
• Casinos may check ID at the showroom door as well as at the property entrance.
• Every guest needs their own ID. One adult cannot vouch for a group.
• Travelling from abroad? A passport is the safest ID, as some venues will not accept foreign licences.
• Digital ID on a phone may not be accepted. Carry the physical card.

Which shows are best for 18 to 20 year olds?

Choose a theatre or civic venue over a casino. On the US leg that includes, for example, Lincoln, Memphis, Atlanta, New York, Austin, Milwaukee and St. Louis. Even there, confirm the rule with the venue. The full list is on tour dates.
